fairy tale
today was foreshadowed in heavy blacks
holding my breath back
as i got closer to work
but twas not that bad
a cool steady flow
of not so nasty people
and time was on my side
was it ever
i got so much done
and made the plan
today was glorious
could they all be like today
i might not be losing my thought
processes as fast as i am.
i have to report for jury duty at 8am in salinas
imma go all out
contact lens
eye liner
gothed out
so that they wont pick me
and i can continue to rest for the remainder of the morning
i hope it works
but if it doesnt
id be the cutest juror there ever was.
a coupon or two
i really must say
ill keep them forever
until a far away rainy day.
i will not dream tonight,
for there is too much i wish to dream.
and you never really get what you want
