dentist adventures
the left side of my face is numb
thanx to the wonderful dentist
he drilled my mouth for a while
trying to find a deeper layer
only to see that i too
bleed
like everyone else
the taste
of that blood
a reminder
that i am not what i could be
that i need to wake up out of this
condition in which
i have put myself
i cannot feel my nose either
and i hope it doesnt start to drip
some drops of reality
onto my face
so that the world may also see
that i too am human
just like most of them
blood rushing
from under my gums
"when will it stop," i asked
all she said was
"i can't tell you that. everyone is different."
